A WhatsApp Community brings several church WhatsApp groups together in one place. It makes it easier to find the groups you’re interested in and stay connected with what’s happening across St Ed’s.

It gives us one simple place to share church-wide announcements and helps people discover and join relevant groups. It also helps us manage our WhatsApp groups more safely and responsibly.

Your phone number is visible to the administrators of the St Ed’s Community and to people in any smaller groups you choose to join. If you only join the announcements group, other members won’t be able to see your number.

Your details can be seen by the overall community admin (Stederby)

Yes. You can leave an individual group or the whole St Ed’s Community whenever you like. Leaving the Community will also remove you from all the groups within it.

The Community includes groups covering different areas of church life, such as prayer, Bible study, men’s and women’s events, and serving teams. You can choose the groups that are relevant to you—there’s no expectation that you join them all!
