Everyone is made in the image of God and deserves to be safe, valued and cared for.
Safeguarding at St. Ed’s Church
At St Edmund’s, we believe that every person is made in the image of God and should be valued and treated with dignity, regardless of age, ability, gender or ethnicity. We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk, creating a church where everyone can worship, belong and grow in faith safely.
We work together to promote a safer church and follow the safeguarding policies and guidance of the Church of England and the Diocese of Derby, which can be found here.
Any concerns about children, young people or adults at risk will be taken seriously and responded to promptly and sensitively, following the appropriate safeguarding procedures.
