Baptisms (including Christenings) are brilliant moments we as a church get to celebrate, as individuals and families mark their commitment to God. We hold infant and adult baptism services across the year. Please contact us to register your interest and to find out more about baptism preparation.

Alternatively, please also contact us if you wish to explore a service of Thanksgiving, which is where we thank God for your child without making the baptism promises.

Funerals are often really hard, but we want the services to honour the person who has died and we want to care for you in any preparation and on the day. If you considering having a funeral or memorial service at St Ed’s church, please have a look at the Church of England website first as it may answer some of your initial questions. Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptised.
