JOIN THE TEAM

  • The St. Ed's Kids Team are here to give children the best hour of their week! We want every child to know they are seen, loved and important to the Creator of the universe. On a Sunday, you'll be playing games, doing a craft activity, telling a Bible story, and praying with our kids.

  • We want to cultivate a culture of prayer and worship that relentlessly seeks the tangible presence and power of God in our lives, church and community. If you have a heart of worship, can play an instrument (of any level) and/or sing, then we would love to hear from you.

  • We believe prayer changes things. Every week during our service we leave space to pray for each other. We have a dedicated team who would love to listen to you and pray with you.

  • Having sound and visuals are vital to run our Sunday Services. The Production Team are responsible for setting up all the audio equipment, ensuring we have words to the songs, taking photographs for our social media platforms, and more.

  • The Welcome Team is there to make sure everyone is warmly welcomed and feel loved. On a Sunday, you might be on guiding cars in carpark, handing out welcome packs, or pouring a delicious cup of fresh coffee. Most importantly, you’ll be connecting with people and making sure they feel welcomed.

  • As a church we want to love those around us by pursuing cultural renewal. The Community Action Team seeks to partner with local community members, organisations and charities to meet the spiritual and social needs of Allenton and Shelton Lock, and the city. This might look like supporting other projects within the community or helping to run events at the church throughout the year such as the St. Ed’s Fun Day.

  • Ask life’s big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun and relaxed environment. The Alpha team requires people to cook and/or serve food, welcoming guests, leading discussions and more…

  • There’s a team of amazing people involved each week to make sure our Sunday services run as smoothly as possible; from leading a service, preaching, praying for our church and the world, reading the Bible, and more… We know speaking on a microphone in front of people can be scary so if you’ve never done it before but want to give it a go still then we would love to hear from you!

We aim to be a people who love one another by honouring and serving each other. We do that by recognising, affirming and celebrating the variety of special gifts God has given each person. Our team is made up of brilliant people who passionately serve this church and community in different ways. Come be part of the family by joining a team. Find out more below.
