Seeking God’s presence and power in our lives, church and community.
Prayer at St Ed’s Church
When we pray we are partnering with God to see His Kingdom Come and His will be done across our city, nation and world. Our prayers make a difference. It’s for this reason that prayer is so vital to everything we do at St. Ed’s. There are loads of ways we can pray and we’d love to invite you to get involved with some of these rhythms of prayer.

You’re warmly invited to join us for morning prayer during term time. It’s a relaxed space to catch up, share what’s on our hearts and pray together.
Mondays: 8.30–9am on Zoom—click here to join.
Wednesdays: 7.30–8am at St Ed’s, with coffee available from 7.20am.
Come whenever you can—we’d love to see you!

Join us in praying together throughout the week. Our Prayer Hub is a simple WhatsApp community where we share prayer requests, answers to prayer and opportunities to pray together as we seek God's guidance and blessing for our church, community and one another.
-
Finding time to pray can be challenging for many of us. The Lectio 365 App (available for both iPhone and Android) is a really easy to use tool to help with developing a daily prayer rhythm. There's even a Lectio 365 for families.

Throughout the year we gather for evenings of unhurried worship, prayer and seeking God together. These are simple, Spirit-filled spaces to worship, listen and pray for our church, community and one another as we pursue God's presence together.
We also regularly join with churches across the Werbs Network for Kingdom Come—an evening of united worship and prayer as we seek God together for our churches, our city and his kingdom.
Request Prayer
As a church, we want you to know that we're praying for you. If you need prayer for anything—big or small—or would like us to pray for someone you know, we'd be honoured to stand with you in prayer.
Simply complete our prayer request form, and a member of our prayer team will pray for you. All prayer requests are treated sensitively and confidentially, and only shared more widely with your permission where appropriate.
